2004

Feb

Founder and Owner Michael Novak started the company American Best Locksmith from scratch in his garage in Philadelphia PA. American Best Locksmith offers consumers and businesses a more affordable and convenient service for residential and commercial services as well as replacing automotive keys and remotes.

2006

Jul

American Best Locksmith rents a small office and launches a website, AmericanBestLocksmith.com, becoming the first online mobile locksmith in Philadelphia to provide customers with residential, commercial and automotive services under the same roof.

2008

Aug

American Best Locksmith purchases a second van and begins providing mobile service to business and car dealerships. Originally known as a local mobile locksmith provider, we started building our brand as a competitor for major, national companies.

2010

Oct

More technicians began joining our team, bringing us up to a crew of 5 expertly-skilled locksmiths providing Philadelphia and the surrounding areas with professional services.

2012

Apr

American Best Locksmith’s team continues to grow, and we now have teams of technicians that can work solely on residential and commercial services as well as teams that specialize only in automotive locksmith services. With technicians concentrated in certain fields, they truly begin to excel in their work and our customers can attest to their flawless services.

2014

May

American Best Locksmith opens up a dispatch center with a crew available throughout the day and night to assist customers when they need us most with convenient and professional mobile car key replacement services. We continue focusing on programming car keys, smart Keys and keyless remotes.

2016

Jun

American Best Locksmith becomes known throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding areas as the leading locksmith for all residential, commercial, automotive, and emergency locksmith services. We caught the eye of corporations like the Philadelphia Gas Works company (PGW) DriveTime Dealerships, Allstate Insurance, and many more companies. We value our corporate accounts as they allow us to continue on our path of growth.

2017

Oct

We opened a new, one-of-a-kind shop in Philadelphia and started providing customers with even cheaper and faster ways to purchase, cut, and program car keys. The shop service is by appointment only so you can call and schedule at any time and one of our professional personnel will meet you at the shop to cut and program any car key you need for much cheaper prices than at the dealership. Keep in mind you have to bring your car to the shop for diagnostic and key testing. By having the shop, we have the advantage of stocking keys for almost any car that’s on the road today.

Feb

We became the leading Company for car key replacement in Philadelphia, and we now provide mobile service in four major cities: Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Houston, and Philadelphia. Our technicians in these areas are all certified, licensed locksmiths with the skills needed to extend American Best’s expertise from Philadelphia to various locations that truly benefit from our professional services.

The year is 2022, the evolution of car keys has gotten even more sophisticated and we are the leading locksmith company in our home town of Philadelphia for car key replacement services.
